Bravo out, Bravo Plus in. Upgrade from AGM for Printec Offset

01/02/2021

Allaoui Graphic Machinery GmbH (AGM) recently completed a saddle stitcher upgrade at Printec Offset in Kassel to increase performance. The old Muller Martini BRAVO was replaced with a Muller Martini BRAVO PLUS, which was thoroughly cleaned, overhauled and tested in the AGM LifeCycleCenter before delivery. This is a standard process that AGM always carries out at its Aachen site before a finishing machine enters its next life cycle.

The increase in performance is due in part to the more modern Muller Martini 449 three-knife trimmer in the new Bravo Plus. This three-knife trimmer has a significantly lower maintenance intensity compared to its predecessor, the 360. In addition, the more modern three-knife trimmer enables significantly cleaner and faster cuts and is very user-friendly, especially when changing formats. In addition, the new SEMCO system helps to report missing sheets by checking the thickness before the stitching station. Makeready times are now also significantly reduced with the simplified exchange and adjustment of stitching heads, thanks to automatic chain adjustment.

This was not the first deal with AGM for the owner-managed Printec Offset media house. In 2019, AGM enabled Printec Offset to enter the in-house finishing of magazines and catalogs by supplying a Kolbus KM600 perfect binder in mint condition.

We wish Printec Offset much success in the future and look forward to further cooperation with Mr. Faste and his team!
