Allaoui Graphic Machinery GmbH (AGM) has recently installed an almost new BF530 at Bertelsmann Printing Group USA in Berryville. In September 2017, Allaoui had already met with the representatives of BPG at site in the USA to discover a hardcover solution with up-to-date technology for the production site at Berryville, Virginia.
The Kolbus BF 530 was just the right machine with the latest technology in hardcover production. Further, the BF 530 which to date is the fastest hardcover book production machine was almost unused by the previous owner in Germany. Next to the BF 530 a Kolbus SU 651 jacketing machine was sold. This machine will be connected to the BF to provide hardcover books with book jackets. It is the first Kolbus BF530 of its kind to be installed at Bertelsmann Printing Group USA.
The entire project from dismantling in Germany to installation in the USA including 3 days production overview was fulfilled to the complete satisfaction of the client by the AGM Team.
With only 2 million books on the counter the machine was in a showroom condition.
